Founder of The Fitness Huns, personal trainer, running hun and resident hype woman!
I started The Fitness Huns to create the space I needed when I started my fitness journey. There was a lack of genuinely supportive, beginner-friendly coaching, and no in-person communities that felt welcoming. As an absolute beginner I had nowhere to turn, and as a result got injured over and over again as I tried to figure out how to run and lift!
The Fitness Huns now exists to be that welcoming space for total beginners, and for more experienced runners and lifters who have felt the spaces available aren’t for them.
The Fitness Huns is queer-friendly, beginner-friendly, neurodivergent-friendly - everyone is welcome regardless of gender, ethnicity and socioeconomic status.
You don’t have to be sporty! You don’t have to be good at it! You don’t even have to know what you’re doing! Fitness is for everyone!
You just have to start. And you don’t have to do it alone!
About me
I’m Phoebe, a Balham-based personal trainer and (soon to be) run coach. Also an actor, dog-mum, Leo, prosecco drinker, pop music lover, 2-time marathoner, and the biggest cheerleader to all of my stunning clients.
I thrive on creating welcoming, judgement-free spaces where you can show up exactly as you are. No need for any designer gymwear - just something you’re comfortable in!
I started my running and lifting journey at age 24 during a real low point with my mental health. I felt behind as I hated PE at school, it was where my bullies thrived, and where I felt I didn’t belong
I had zero base fitness, strength, and NO idea what I was doing.
Now I run my own fitness business, something little me would never have dreamed of, and that’s why I do what I do.
Because fitness isn’t just for the naturally sporty, it’s for everyone! As long as you’re willing to give it a go, you belong here. You just need the right support, the right plan, and a space that actually feels like yours.
You don’t have to be good at it, you just have to start.

You don’t need to already be fit and you don’t need to look a certain way. You just need a bit of structure, some support, and someone cheering you on!
